A refined update to a compact galley kitchen in a postwar pied-à-terre. The design focused on elevating function and atmosphere within a tight footprint, balancing practical needs with warmth through thoughtful materials and quiet detailing. 

Design Highlights

  • Custom cabinetry designed to set the tone, maximize storage and maintain visual clarity.
  • Layout refined to support smoother workflow and better visual connection to adjacent rooms.
  • Oak countertops and satin nickel hardware introduced warmth and tactility.
  • Handmade tile and a palette of soft green and blues added character and gentle contrast.
  • Flush-mounted and task lighting layered to soften the space and support everyday use.
