About

Our Studio

Home House Interiors is a design studio based in New York City, specializing in bespoke kitchens, bathrooms, and custom-fitted cabinetry, along with the renovation work that brings each space to life.

We are a contemporary studio with old-fashioned values: integrity, transparency, and a commitment to getting the details right. Our projects range from cabinetry commissions to full apartment renovations in co-operatives, condominiums, and townhouses throughout the City.

Our Perspective

We believe homes should feel rooted — architecturally, emotionally, and materially.

Some renovations start fresh, while others build upon what’s already there. Our design process takes the time to assess what’s needed. We make sure every decision is thought through, every conversation is open, and every detail is handled with care.

Spaces that might otherwise feel generic or disconnected become homes that feel composed, intelligent, and entirely their own.

Our Approach

Many of our projects are fully bespoke; others incorporate custom elements where it matters most. Kitchens, bathrooms, and cabinetry are tailored to the architecture and crafted to resolve spatial and functional challenges that off-the-shelf solutions cannot.

Our approach is guided by the character of each home and the rhythms of daily life: how a space functions, what it requires, and how it may evolve.

We develop layouts, details, and finishes alongside these considerations, creating interiors that are thoughtfully designed, aligned with our clients’ goals, and ready to adapt as life unfolds.

Even the most constrained homes, when approached with this care, can be shaped into spaces of quiet distinction.

Our Leadership

The studio is led by English-born Sharon Catherine Soltis, an interior designer trained in London and at Parsons School of Design in New York. With over three decades of experience, her work is grounded in proportion, restraint, and a practical understanding of how people inhabit and move through space. She believes that every home, no matter how constrained, holds the potential to be quietly extraordinary.
